Beverly Crusher doesn't seem really happy during Deanna and Will's wedding at the beginning of Star Trek: Nemesis.

Normal person's translation: Gates McFadden was having an off-acting couple of scenes.
Star Trek fan's translation: She's remembering her husband who died and is sad that Picard is never going to get over himself and court her.
My translation: She's in love with Deanna.

Just realized that my caps from the past hour of watching the movie (for the umpteenth time) haven't been saving. Curses.
Figured out why: for some reason, it didn't like the colon in the filename I was saving them as. So I'm back at the beginning.

So many of the old Xenaverse sites are down now that it makes me sad. That was definitely a defining part of internet fandom (and a huge part of femslash fandom) and now quite a bit of it is lost.

Anyway. Sadness over.

Anyone that reads want to recommend some good published Xena Ubers that my library might have? With class starting again on Tuesday, I need reading material that I can carry around and books look somewhat respectable and make me look smart.
