I get way too excited about backstory.

I've got lots bits of it written out already for my Star Fleet character. The one that I finished just now is longer than most of my fanfiction stories. I'm probably going to use it for my first post, but the problem is that it's two pages long and nobody wants to read that much.

I think that the whole thing is going to continuously annoy me next season.

I've started just shaking my head every time I see the promos because I hate when TV shows screw up medicine.

(However, I do not turn the channel when the promos come on like my mother told me to do if they annoy me so much, because crying!Cuddy is the prettiest and saddest thing ever all at the same time.)

Went canvassing for Joan Bray, a state senate democrat candidate (incumbent, actually). She's pretty cool. I would do it again, but maybe closer to the elections (when it's not so hot and mosquito filled).

Went to Katie's house, we talked, then went to Waffle House where for the second night in a row I ate a way too big dinner.

I'm now tired, bugbitten, and stuffed. Day complete.

And. . . the internet is being a bitch. It shut off for about 5 minutes, then came back on but all it would give me was a message saying the problem had been resolved until I completely restarted it, and now it's working really slowly.

So I give up. I was going to work some more on this story that I started just because I want to get something down though I have no idea how to continue past a certain point and I know I will probably never finish (that situation actually describes all 4 of the Cuddy/Cameron stories I've got incomplete right now, but I was referring to the one where Cuddy's pregnant) but I don't think I will tonight. I was running all over Creve Coeur knocking on doors and now I'm pretty tired.

This story is giving me the most trouble out of all of the ones I've been "working" on lately. I think that is because for it to work, it needs more than the modicum of plot I usually put into my fics.

Though I don't doubt that another 3 pages of backstory will come to me about my RP character tonight. Man, why can I only actually write the stuff that I don't need to write and nobody will ever see?
