Overwhelmment. That isn't a word, is it. Curses. Overwhelmation? I'm trying to say 'emotional overwhelmment' but I just can't come up with another word that will work. And I can't really rephrase the sentence either. This writing stuff sucks.

Especially because I can see the face that I want the character to make. I can make the face myself. But I'm having trouble putting it into words. And even more trouble putting it into words without using 'emotional overwhelmment'.

Edit: Overwhelmth? Maybe? No? *headdesk*

Edit again: The way I rearranged the sentence doesn't work quite as well, but I'll take it. Thanks, guys.

Edit yet again: "A look of disbelief, relief, and utter emotional exhaustion. . ." I'm thinking this might work.

*should really get to bed as mum is undoubtedly going to wake up early and insist on going to church*

Yeah, I'm pretty much figuring I'm going to have to rechange the whole sentence.

What I had was "A look of disbelief, relief, and pure emotional overwhelmment. . .", and I wanted to keep it the way I had it, but there's just not another word with the same connotation as 'overwhelm' that would do it.
