My favorite holiday? Halloween has always been up there because you get to dress up, plus they clearance all the makeup and costumey stuff afterwards and that means really cheapy eyeliner and fishnets and armbands and costume jewelry and such. (And even beforewards. I bought a bunch of bat/spider hair things, a little serving-ish tray with a spider web, and a witch's hat with silver tinsel hair all for like $2.26 last night.)
Christmas means presents that aren't food, though, so I think that wins. Plus, though I'm not really one of those all-up-with-the-religiosity peoples, IL going to (Catholic) church on Christmas (even in the weeks leading up to it). The church is always decked out and you sing Christmas songs sometimes instead of hymn things, and the atmosphere's all fun.
I do not know that song, sadly enough. I have been bursting into choruses of that song from The Lion King, "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts, deedelidee. There they are a standing in a row, bumbumbum. . . ."
