I used to have a bunk bed, in our old house when I had to share with my sister. I had the top.
I've had a bunkbed my entire life, practically, but I don't think anyone else has ever shared it with me, for some odd reason. It was always "Oh, we've got the bunk bed for when your brother is old enough," and then my sister was born, so it became for her and me, but she sleeps in the same bed as my mum for some odd reason still. So always to myself, or at least for most of my memory. I used to always be on the top too, but I switched to the bottom a few years ago (actually, probably like 4) because it was hard to get up in the morning when you also had to climb down and not just roll out of bed. The top bed in my room still has this bookshelf right by the head (which I imagine is quite painful if you wake up in an unfortunate position, but back when I slept up there I think I was still short/small enough that it wasn't really a problem) and is right by the window and is all around the better bed (because your hair doesn't get caught in the net thingie that holds up the top bunk), but I like the alcovey caveyness of the bottom.
Except when she gets stuck and I peek over her shoulder and give her the answer. Then she doesn't appear to like it very much.
Ahh, yes. Our Text Twist games end up mostly becoming a family affair, which is nice, as I def. wouldn't want people picking out the words for me, methinks.
I so want my own laptop. With an internet connection. Guh. I'm drooling at the thought of it.
Me too! I'm going to have to somehow get it back out into the front room when I get home so nobody notices it's missing when they go to play text twist or whatever (because for some reason the game's not on the main computer), but I'm getting home late because I have to make up a bio test, so everybody will be home. I'll have to be all *smuggles under shirt*. Secretagent!Alexandria. *starts singing the really gay Melissa Etheridge song by that name* (<- By "by that name", I mean "Secret Agent", not "Secretagent!Alexandria". Though that'd be a pretty kickass song, if I do say so myself.)
