Oh yes. Now even Fox is saying that it's looking really good for McCaskill. 45 minutes ago, this was not the case. Urban votes have started to come in and now she's pulling ahead. It's going to be a bunch more hours still and neither is probably going to concede until at least tomorrow as it's already past midnight, though, so I'm not staying up.

This is what's pretty much been going through my head all day. To mesh, adapt, and slightly butcher West Wing quotes:

So I'm pretty excited. Though I know I'm going to be disappointed because I'm hoping that we can totally fix up America, but nothing's really going to ever get done.

And it turns out my crazy extended 4 day headaches were the precursor to this full-blown cold that I've got going on right now. Add that to the stomach bug that I'm currently developing (because I always manage to get a stomach bug at the same time as colds/flu just so I'm doubly miserable) and my day of jubilee has been slightly dampered by the fact that I can't eat anything because swallowing is too painful and likely to make me throw up.

Still. I drink from the cup of water I'm using to swallow as much vitamin C as is humanly possible keg of glory.
