Sep. 20th, 2006 11:46 pmI've got a lot of work to do, but I really just feel like going to bed. Even though I took a nap today and got 5ish hours of sleep last night, making now the most rested I've been on a weekday in a long time.
But I called and bitched (not so much, really, maybe 'bitched nicely') at the MiniMedSchool people for not letting me be put on a waiting list before when I first called and there was still space (just so my name was on there until the money got to them), but offering to put me on one after I sent my money in and it had filled up. I think that the calling and semi-bitching pushed me up the list, as I got a thing today saying I was in. (Well, I assume it was the 'you're in' letter, but it really just was a brochure and a map, nothing actually saying those words. Still, we'll go with it.)
I take back my comments about Cameron probably not having a reason to cry. She did. (And I saw the House/Cameron and I actually 'aww'ed a little inside. And frightened myself a bit in doing so.) Cuddy still didn't, however, so I'm allowed to be irate about that. This episode was actually better than I thought it was going to be. (Yay, Joel Grey OBC Wicked love!) Though my mother wouldn't let me watch NCIS, so I totally missed that. I told her that I could get the House from somebody else/the internet, and I didn't know where to get the NCIS, but no. She wanted to watch House. Grr. I never thought I'd be angry at someone for insisting on watching House.
Though the line of NCIS that I did happen to catch when I hijacked the remote on a commercial was Ziva saying something about how Jenny would fix everything, and I'm like "Oh, she has such confidence in her girlfriend." And that made me happy.
The SVU episode was probably the best thing on that night, though. Yay FBI and Olivia and ecoterrorism and plot twists.
It's impossible to do this calculus homeworkwhen the teacher didn't teach it and I can't find my calculator at all.
