I have a bruise from 20-someodd hours on the computer this weekend.  Right on that bone bump on the pinky side of your hand, from hitting the table when my hand was on the mouse.  I need a laptop.  I write a lot more actually on the computer than handwritten.  And if I don't finish a story in one sitting, it's not likely to get finished.  Therefore, anybody wanting more fic by me needs to buy me a laptop.

Been thinking.  I would do well in Diagnostic Medicine.  I wonder if any hospitals actually have that kind of a department.  I chose Emergency Medicine really young because I like the puzzles, how you don't know what's wrong with the patient, it's not a pre-diagnosed thing you've got to just keep treating, you need to solve it.  And then treat it.  Diagnostics would work.  But I think I like trauma too much to switch.  Must find a med school whose hospital has a diagnostics dpt. so I can try it out.
