All the little looks and glances in this episode... right after I complained that Karen and Juliet weren't slashable together! It's like Psych heard me and set out to prove me wrong! I LOVE that shoulder grab. Only one explanation for that, and that is slashy. :D The whole episode was slashy for Karen and Jules! I've been meaning to ask people on my flist for that cap so I could share the scene with the world. Now I don't have to!

SO glad someone else saw the potential between Karen and Jules. I definitely think there's potential for Karen to be a canon lesbian. I mean, sure, she had a baby last season, but she never mentions a husband. And in the dinosaur episode, I saw a ring on her finger, but what does that mean? Nothing!
Here's my idea... Lassiter and pilot!Partner were sleeping together. The affair was intrusive, it got in the way of his work, so Karen had enough. As soon as she was ensconced in the Interim Chief position, she split them up. But how to make sure he wouldn't do the same thing with his next partner? Simple! Bring in Juliet, the hot little number that had hit on Karen at a conference.
The only problem with that? Karen finds herself suddenly attracted to the lovely Juliet. *G*
