So I got the episode. Yay.
When Cameron and House are arguing in Cuddy's office, and Cameron says "It's the only explanation your twisted mind can come up with. . .", Cuddy does this little eyebrow-raise-mouth-open thing like she's saying "You go, girl." Or (upon rewatching it) "this is not the same woman that I hired slept with last night. If this keeps up, she might insist on topping!"
I really like that scene because that's more the Cameron that I write. The one that's not afraid to stand up to House. But this scene was tempered by the one in the bathroom where she whines "Can I go now?" An utter and complete whine that would get my little sister yelled at, much less a grown woman.
And when House tells Cameron to grow up, Cuddy looks at him absolutely loathingly and tells him to shut up. Very scathingly.
Then Cameron looks at Cuddy like (and this is totally my skewing of it, from here on out it's the show with fill ins to make it femslash) she's anxious. Because House would undoubtedly assault Cuddy with allegations of unfairness, "How come I have to shut up and not her?" and such, which could lead to the accidental outing of their relationship, which, while absolutely lovely and good, could lead to both of them losing their jobs. And Cuddy then adds, as an afterthought, both of you.
