Managed to do that almost-passing-out thingie while reffing tonight. Once I could have written off as a fluke, I locked my knees or whatever, but twice in 6 weeks for no apparent reason is a little freaky.

Got to play in the first game, though, as they were short. Was fun. I didn't do overly well at first, but had like 8 serves in a row at one point (which isn't anywhere near my record, but for not having done it in more than a year. . .). My knees hurt, however, as I didn't have my kneepads and yet I insist on diving for the ball.

Yay, lasagna for dinner. Yum.

Edit: *drops lasagna on pants* Oops.

What sport is that you were playing? I am not a sporty person. "Serves" as in tennis? That's one sport I've attempted to play in the past. And by 'attempted' I mean I sucked! But are you meant to wear kneepads during tennis?

Haha. That reminds me trying to eat my meat pie last night. First I took the top off (as I usually do), then I tried to bite the side of it, but it was a little overcooked, so the whole thing flung up and hit me in the face. My nose went in it and everything. Funny visual, but all I could smell afterwards was mince and tomato sauce. And I dropped it all over myself and the keyboard. Must use bib next time. And must remember to not read Cam/Cuddy fics while eating food, as it causes me to forget all my table manners. Seriously, I was getting this pie everywhere but in my mouth.

I do so LOVE lasagne. I hope it was very very yummy. I am having fish tonight. Usually I hate that fishy flavour, but my mum has this awesome way of cooking it so it doesn't even taste like fish. I thought it was chicken when she first gave it to us. It's yummy. [/random food story sharing]
